Charles has been dancing since he was 8 years old – from breakdancing, hip-hop, tap dancing, swing, salsa, merengue, etc. – even performing in various talent shows and productions. As a teen he got into health fitness – from weightlifting to aerobic, and has stayed with this regiment most of his life. Now he has mixed his love for dancing with his love for fitness to share with others the benefits of these healthy life choices.
For the past 5 years Charles has taught different forms of Dance Fitness from Zumba to Cardio Funk. Currently, Charles is focusing his attention on Cardio Funk – intense aerobics/cardio workout combined with dance moves set to R&B, HipHop, Pop, and Latin music. This form of Dance Fitness is energetic, fun, and contagious.
Charles has an IFTA Group Fitness Certification and a CPR/AED certification.
